Product Description
Sony’s latest addition to it’s EI monochrome series is the model XC-EI30CE. With a weight of just 60 grams, this camera is the lightest Sony offering to-date for machine vision applications. It’s compact features. light weight, and clever internal mounting enable it to with stand high g vibration environments without failing. It is an ideal choice for dynamic applications such as a robotics.
The model EI30CE has a 1/3-inch sensor format with a spectral sensitivity reaching near 1,000 nanometers, perfect for near infrared ( NIR ) applications. The sensors incorporates the standard interline transfer technology producing sharp, responsive, imagery with a 752(H) x 582(V)pixel array. The EI series is often used in conjunction with IR illumination to detect surface defects not visible to the naked eye or visible light cameras.
Sony designed the EI series with the same features and technology found in their larger ST series. Features such as flexible trigger modes, manual shutter speed and gain settings, as well as trigger/shutter sync features that can controlled dynamically through external pulsed trigger inputs.
XC-EI30CE Features:
- High sensitivity using the 1/3″ CCD with HAD technology
- All controls outside the camera
- Simplified and flexible trigger
- Smallest and lightest, one piece analog B/W video camera offered by Sony
- Excellent vibration and shock characteristics (10G / 70G)
- Small and light weight power adaptor (DC-700/700CE)
