Product Description
The FLIR AX8 is a thermal sensor with imaging capabilities. It combines microbolometer for thermal imaging with a CMOS imaging sensor for visual imaging in a small, ruggedized package. It can provide continuous temperature monitoring and alarming capabilities to protect critical electrical and mechanical equipment.
What makes the FLIR AX8 truly unique is it’s ability to measure temperature across 4,800 individual points overlaid on a 640×480 image, allowing highly detailed temperature monitor of a scene with a range of 14 to 302 degrees Fahrenheit.
The camera can interface with PoE Internet IP or ModBus TCP protocols and has digital alarm outputs, including ftp and email notifications.
The AX8 is ideally suited for condition monitoring for data centers, electrical distribution systems, power plants, marine engines, and even security applications.
